ABOUT THE RACE

OBJECTIVE: EAT A SLICE OF NEED PIZZA, RUN 1/2 MILE--DRINK A PINT OF EXILE BEER, RUN ANOTHER 1/2 MILE TO THE FINISH!!! Vegan and gluten free options available!

Non alcoholic beer will be available also for racers

Root beer will be available for the kids race

This family friendly pizza and beer 1-mile race is put on by the PR Foundation. The PRFoundation created this charitable sports run to support the community of the greater Cedar Rapids area. This year the PRFoundation will be donating all the proceeds from the Need A Pizza & Beer Run to Families Helping Families of Cedar Rapids as well as Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids!

Even though the PR Foundation was founded by Robert Kabakoff of Chicago and "Panini" Pete Blohme of Alabama, they feel wherever there is an event that their cause can support, that money can be used in the community! PR Foundation board member and Need Pizza co-owner, Bob Wagner along with Meg McMullen PR Foundation board member are spearheading the organization of the event.
